A cultural identity perspective – insight of the Danube region

By organizing the workshop: “A cultural identity perspective – insight of the Danube region“, the Department for Interethnic Relations under the Government of Romania, in partnership with the Romanian Cultural Institute, will contribute to better recognition and perception dialogue under the aegis of Priority Area 3 (“promoting culture and tourism, people to people contacts”).

The event relevance for the EUSDR 8th Annual Forum shall be understood as a pledge for the cultural identity of the Danube region illustrating the need for implementing the PA 3 objective  –`creation of a Blue Book of the Danube cultural identity`.

The two-part event will be structured first into the form of a discussion panel combining approaches concerning cultural identity for the Danube region and a Romanian contemporary art exhibition that encounters and positions one of the five elements from the natural world as proper thematic – “Water – Danube: River as Connector”.
The program will be communicated shortly by the organizers.

The event will take place in Bucharest, the Palace of the Parliament,”Dimitrie Cantemir” Conference Hall.
